May 12th through May 16th (that’s this week, for those keeping score at home) is National Small Business Week, an effort by the Small Business Administration to champion and support the millions of small businesses in the United States.
A few facts:
- More than half of Americans own or work for a small business.
- Small businesses create 2 of every 3 jobs in America.
The SBA has a few great events this week, in different corners of the country. There are also a number of events being streamed online, so you can catch them even if you have to miss out in person.
